Using Word template(.dot) through DXL

Hello,

I have a word template test.dot, I wanna use this for template for word document creation by using DXL,I dnt want to use RPE for this.
Can any one guide me Please.

What version of DOORS are you using?

Why not use Word Export and specify the .dot as your templatE?

I think he's asking how does he define the "oleMethod" to attach such a template.

string TemplateFullPath = "c:\\My Template.dot"
OleAutoObj ObjWord = oleCreateAutoObject("Word.Application")
 
OleAutoObj ObjDocuments
oleGet(ObjWord, "Documents", ObjDocuments)
 
OleAutoArgs autoArgs = create()
clear autoArgs
put(autoArgs, "Template", TemplateFullPath)
OleAutoObj ObjDocument
oleMethod(ObjDocuments, "Add", autoArgs, ObjDocument)
